5 years ago, I graduated nursing school and got my very first RN job. About two months in, I had SO many questions, concerns and stresses. I started trying to find some advice online, and through other RNs that I knew, but what a tedious task that turned out to be. I got a job being a clinical instructor at a local college while being an inpatient RN as well as starting to go to school part time for my MSN-NP degree and quickly realized that I was not alone in my initial fears and stresses as a new RN. I heard so many stories from my students as well as the new nurses that I oriented on my unit with the same questions I had a few years earlier. Since then, I made it my goal to create guides for the many avenues and paths nursing can take you. I want YOU to be confident, feel empowered and be on the path to success right from the start.
